A long-vacant site is infused with new life.
This project consists of developing 10 new residential units in five duplex buildings on an undeveloped flag-shaped interior lot surrounded by 25 homes. The new homes are family-sized flats and townhomes. The head building facing York Street has two flats above a common garage with eight parking spaces and mechanical stackers. A pedestrian walkway gives access to the mid-block townhomes. Private and common open spaces are provided, including a gently sloping Central Green in the middle of the development for resident and visitor enjoyment. Stormwater management includes collecting water from unit roofs, storing it in a central cistern, and using it to irrigate site plantings.
