Prior to establishing her own practice in 1992 (which would evolve into Kerman Morris Architects), Elizabeth Kerman-Morris designed a range of custom residential, affordable housing, multifamily housing, institutional, and commercial projects for small and large firms in Boston, San Francisco, and Portland, Maine. As Staff Architect for San Francisco Architectural Heritage, Elizabeth provided design services to neighborhood non-profit housing developers (Mission Housing Development Corp. and Bernal Heights Housing Corp.) under a CDBG grant. Later, working with a leading preservation architect, she developed an expertise in the preservation and adaptive reuse of historic buildings. Elizabeth brings strong design, project management and interior architecture detailing skills to her craft, and works closely with owners, developers and contractors to realize exemplary projects. She is a licensed architect in California.
