Karen Chan

Architect

Karen joined KMA in 2021 with 12 years of experience as an architect working on various project types including civic, education, and residential. She brings to KMA a strong background in LEED administration and a focus on sustainable design integration. She approaches projects with both a big-picture perspective and attention to detail. Karen is a licensed architect in California.

Karen also has a graphic recording practice. When working with groups, she uses visual notes to foster consensus among diverse stakeholders and to serve as project roadmaps. She brings her astute listening skills and note-taking expertise to her architectural practice.
